Marie Stanton - Bubbles and Squeak Wellness

I believe that our health, beauty and wellness should be looked at holistically, i.e. in order for the body to function healthily and in balance the mind, body and spirit must be taken into consideration.

Day to day we carry an increasing amount of stress in our lives which leads to anxiety, tension, depression and negative thoughts.  Without a way of reducing or releasing that stress our mind, body and spirit is affected in profound ways, having a major impact on our general wellbeing. Through massage we can reduce the amount of cortisol and adrenaline and increase endorphins in our system which lead to feelings of positivity, calm, relaxation and happiness.

The stimulation of massage warms muscles and stimulates circulation, relaxing the muscles and increasing flexibility which reduces physical pain and tension which can also have a positive affect on our mental wellbeing.  A good massage gives the body and mind time to unwind allowing you time away from your problems or time to process those problems without distraction.

In order to promote balance and therefore help improve overall wellness I offer the following seated massage therapies:

Indian Head Massage - a massage treatment concentrating on the upper back, head, neck and shoulders to help relieve stress and tension and promote a sense of tranquility.

Japanese Hand Massage - a mixture of Shiatsu and Reflexology to clear energy channels, remove toxins and balance the whole system.

Thai Foot Massage - with elements of Shiatsu, Reflexology, Chinese Massage and Yoga, this treatment concentrates on the feet and lower legs and promotes a whole wealth of health benefits.

Eastern Facial Massage - a unique blend of Face Massa (also known as Facial Rejuvenation or the Natural Facelift) and Japanese Face Massage; Eastern Facial massage involves a sequence of techniques, including facial reflexology, which act as a natural facelift with no need for surgery, helping you look (and often feel) younger.

When I qualified in 2011 I kept my therapies for friends and family only until 2018. After having my own family I decided it was time to offer my much needed services to the general public.  It is my belief that every-body and every mind needs care and attention and massage is a great way to help all round.
